Nick Brennan

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Nick Brennan is a senior mechanical engineer at NK Labs. He specializes in the design of robotic systems, medical devices, and biomechanics. Aside from his engineering work, Nick also manages project leads with prospective clients, runs the co-op and intern hiring program, and heads NK Labs' marketing efforts.

At NK Labs, Nick has developed robots and automated equipment for a variety of commercial and industrial uses. He also designed and built novel optical and haptic sensor systems, custom high-vacuum infrastructure for particle physics research, IP-rated electronics enclosures, test fixtures for 60 hp motors, and much more. Prior to working at NK Labs, Nick developed medical devices for commercial use with LeMaitre Vascular, Inc. and Farm Design, Inc., as well as for academic use with Dr. Sandra Shefelbine at Northeastern University. During his time at Boston Engineering Corporation, he worked to advance their robotic systems, including AUVs, for industrial and defense applications.

Nick likes to travel, cook, and ride his bicycle in his free time, and he has a working proficiency in Spanish. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
