Karl Peterson

Karl Peterson is an Electrical Engineer II at NK Labs. Karl is a jack of all trades hardware engineer, but he has a focus on digital electronics and PCB design.

Before joining NK Labs, Karl worked at Crane Aerospace & Electronics, where he designed the digital command and control for a variety of RF products used in defense and space applications. He worked on products at each stage of the design cycle: system definition, prototyping, FPGA design, layout, test software development, and debugging. He has experience with both Xilinx/AMD and Altera programmable logic devices.

Karl spends the majority of his free time working on indie game projects, creating art assets and sprite animations for a variety of web games. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont with a minor in Computer Science.
